Super comfortable beds, and a very sociable host who was always ready to help with any questions I had. The location is great—just 10 minutes from the main square (Plaza de Armas)—yet it’s quite peaceful. It’s also right next to a market where you can find good, affordable food.
The best hostel ever! We stayed in several hostels during our trip to South America, but none compared to this one. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive; we felt very comfortable. Plus, the pool is amazing, and the hostel is in an excellent location—there’s a small shop just around the corner and a large supermarket an 8-minute walk away. Centrally located, making it easy to get everywhere. The rooms, bathrooms, pool, and kitchen are all clean. The owners are very attentive; they also run a travel agency and provide recommendations tailored to your needs. A highly recommended place to stay.

An incredible experience! We spent two nights there, and our host, Marcel, was so kind to us! He arranged all the boat trips we needed at a fair price, organized a day excursion, and—best of all—invited us to play soccer in the city with his friends! He even recommended some parties we could check out! Don’t hesitate—this place is amazing, and you’ll feel right at home. I want to highlight, once again, what a wonderful experience we had with Marcel; he truly made us feel at home. In Iquitos, it’s refreshing to talk to someone who isn’t constantly lying to you just to get your money. Enjoy!

Reservations may be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival. For refunds, the guest must provide notification in writing, and the amount will be returned within 3–5 business days. In the event of a late cancellation, the cost of the first night is non-refundable.
Our check-in time starts at 1:00 PM. From that time onwards, you can access your assigned room or bed and enjoy our facilities.
Early check-in is subject to room and bed availability. However, you can register in advance, leave your luggage, and explore our facilities while we wait for the previous guest to vacate your assigned room or bed..
Of course! You are welcome to continue enjoying Palo Verde House's common areas and facilities after check-out. Please note that once you have checked out, access to your previously assigned bed or room will no longer be available.
